How to connect to Chronic WoW 1.12.1 server

To be playing on our server you first need a 1.12.1 Server client.

download the client from these links

The client is divided into 3 parts so i gave you the links to the 3 parts above.

When you have downloaded the files, create a folder called WoWinst at your desktop and extract them there. Then run the Installer.exe and install. And instead of calling the folder World of Warcraft, name it to World of Warcraft classic.
Note: If you have installed World of Warcraft on your computer before you may be in need of to change name of the World of Warcraft folder during the install. You can change it to something like WeW or whatever you want. And when the install is complete you can change it back to World of Warcraft.

For some downloads you maybe need to unrar the files (extract), to do so either download winrar or 7zip (there is tons of others).

Now for the patches!.

As you know there is plenty of patches out there but you only need 1.12.0 and 1.12.1.

Note: That all files you download needs to be installed in main wow folder!

Those files you need to put in the main wow folder example C:/Programfiles/World of Warcraft Classic, and run it in the folder.

For mac patches

Realmlist!

Now we need to change the realmlist to the server one.

Go to your main wow folder, in there you should see a file realmlist.wtf.

Press Open with, choose either Wordpad/Notepad.

Now the only thing you should see here is,

1. Set the realmlist blabla.
2. Set patchlist blablaba.

The only thing you need to change is the Set realmlist, take away logon.worldofwarcraft.com and replace it with chronic-wow.ath.cx.

The patchlist you can either delete or just let it be there.

When you're done it should look something like this: Set realmlist chronic-wow.ath.cx

Now you should be Set & Go.

Never use your WoW.exe on the desktop since it will start you patching.

Instead delete it and go to your main world of warcraft classic folder and copy the WoW.exe from the folder! And put it on the desktop (this is for preventing patching).

Also to see if you have 1.12.1 installed Click on Wow.exe (Main folder) and in the left corner you will see what version you are on.

Now you just need an account and then you can log on and play.
